AN EYE ON – is a contemporary design and visual culture magazine. Each issue captures and explores the design of a selected country which might seem inconspicuous at first glance . We report on both upcoming and established designers and take a look at the natural and cultural surroundings possibly affecting their work.
In our first edition of the "An Eye On" magazine we take a closer look at Iceland – a country with just one tenth of the population of Berlin. In a time in which the world is flooded daily with new designs it's hard to make a name for yourself. Despite that, the work of Icelandic designers stands out from the mass and always gets international attention and recognition. But how can such a small country produce so many outstanding designers? What inspires them? Is there perhaps a characteristically unique Icelandic design style? How does the astonishing, powerful natural landscape influence the designer‘s work and their mentality?
Therefore, we were on site for one month to meet the creative artists of the country and interviewed them about their lives and their work. The result is an edition full of enlightening, exciting and amusing interviews, fascinating projects and photographs of the extraordinary, natural landscape that surrounds this design community, a design community on an island with a completely different outlook.

A journey through the Holy Land. From Tel Aviv over the Negev Desert, Jerusalem, the West Bank up to the Sea of Galilee. In the summer of 2015 I took a series of photographs during a two-week stay in this land of contrasts, conflicts but also wonderful stories.
The classical workplace is making way for that of the future. Disciplines are combining, borders are blurring, everything is merging – and we are right there in the thick of it.
Our modular systems and intelligently designed product families are a playful combination of opposites. Individuality with teamwork. Standing with sitting. Formal with informal. Open-plan with mini-format. And the known with the unknown.
Welcome to the New Mix Days. By Brunner.
Brunner is one of the leading manufacturers of contract furniture. In 2016 they asked for a unique fair concept of their new innovations to present them exclusively at the leading international trade fair for modern working world called ORGATEC. The whole package included the fair concept itself with inherent brochures, invitations, newsletters, webspecials, trailers and giveaways. It was my assignment to develop the concept as well as the visual execution.
In my internship semester I worked at advertising agency Jung von Matt in Stuttgart. During my time there I was assigned to create the new storefront for the spring collection at Breuninger, a department store in Stuttgart.

Together with fellow graphic designer Robert Gutmann, I was assigned to develop the corporate design for the final exhibition of the 2014/2015 winter semester at the Offenburg University of Applied Sciences.
For this purpose, we developed several concepts. Our goal was to make the showcase for the winter semester in February attractive and colorful. To this end, we decided to work with flowers drawings from old botanical books. Starting from the posters we transferred the concept to additional advertising material and the spatial concept of the university. The flowers and plants of the posters was placed as growths in the university, so the design was spatially perceptible.

Each year Jung von Matt/Neckar sends self-designed baubles to all their clients as a small gift for Christmas. I was responsible for the design of the Christmas balls in 2016.

As part of my final project at the Offenburg University of Applied Sciences, I traveled together with fellow graphic designer Robert Gutmann to Iceland to collect some interviews and footage for our thesis. During this time, these digital and analog photo series was created.
In collaboration with Robert Gutmann, a fellow graphic designer, I designed the new campaign for the Shorts Film Festival 2015 in Offenburg. We handled the whole project from the concept stage, the screen idea, photography and screen printing through to full graphic implementation.
The basic idea for this year's campaign: The city of Offenburg and the non-student population should be more integrated. Therefore conspicuous faces of the city and students were cast. The old Super-8 camera is the leitmotif and connect the screen idea obvious to film.

In collaboration with fellow graphic designer Robert Gutmann, I developed the concept for the fictional skateboarding magazine GRIND, a publication that combines skateboarding, fashion, design and lifestyle. We created the entire corporate design and the layout of the first edition.
In February 2012, C/O Berlin, the International Forum for Visual Dialogues, presented the Close Up! project. I got to experience working as a professional photojournalist at the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival and exhibited at C/O Berlin.
At the 65th Berlin International Film Festival I took a series of analogue photographs in collaboration with fellow graphic designer Robert Gutmann.

I was commissioned to design consultant, TV presenter and author Rainer Walde’s new book, Du bist der Held deiner Geschichte. The 100-page book is an invitation to write the screenplay of his own life.
I designed the artwork for the latest album by German rapper and hip hop artist Pedro Panaché, Markige Worte.

During my course, we shot a short film about the current parking problem at the Offenburg University of Applied Sciences. From year to year more and more students coming to study but the parking area are scarce. This short film is intended as a parody and innovative solution to this problem.

During my course we shot the film Quantized Love.
In a not too distant future Diana (Maike Von Bremen) and Paul (Alberto Ruano) live the perfect life. Two lovers in paradise. They seem to have found good fortune. This idyll is, however, abruptly destroyed as Diana learns the truth about her and Paul’s existence. The search for answers forces them to confront their innermost core and leads them to the lowest depths of a dystopian future. A race against time begins, in which Diana threatens more than the loss of their lives. A film about the weight of memory and the nature of the soul.
